Every man wants a battle to fight; it is a whole thing with boys & weapons. Look at the movies men love – Brave heart, Gladiator, Top gun, saving Private Ryan etc. we are made for battle, we were made in the image of a warrior God. The day you were born you were born at war. Nobody teaches us the will to fight it’s just in us, we only have to shift the focus; to fight the good fight in God’s kingdom, to fight for what’s right and to restore God’s kingdom on earth. Our God is a warrior, mighty & terrible in battle, & he leads armies.
It is time to teach men to stand up for what is right. “Not by might, nor by power but by My Holy Spirit”, says the Lord Almighty. We want to teach them that the first battle is the battle for their own heart. To win back his warrior heart and connect with God so that He can activate a new desire; a desire to follow Christ and get on a journey with Him. We want to activate his warrior spirit and set that warrior into action, it’s time to saddle up and get to the front line, where the battle really is.
It is time that the lone ranger finds a band of brothers. Brothers in Christ that honor each other, but speak the truth to one another.
It is time to show integrity and love, to confront your father wound and forgive him so that God can connect with you as the real Father.
It is time to stop sexual impurity and start living a pure and righteously in Christ.
